Moonbow Vessel
A moonbow is a rare optical phenomenon created when moonlight - rather than direct sunlight - is refracted and reflected through water droplets in the air, such as mist from a waterfall or rain. Because moonlight is faint, moonbows typically appear white to the human eye, though all colors are present.
My experience of seeing a moonbow while sailing out in the middle of the Pacific ocean led me to create this vessel. The moonbow appeared during an evening of dark thunderstorms surrounding the 360 degree view when a partial clearing allowed the moon to reflect through the clouds creating the moonbow. The light was very subtle and mystical in nature.
